You will be arriving at Hosea Kutako International Airport (IATA: WDH) as your entry point into Namibia. Upon your arrival at Hosea Kutako Airport, our dedicated team will be there to welcome you.

After you have completed the arrival procedures, we will escort you to a private aircraft waiting for you at the airport. This aircraft has been chartered exclusively for our Fly-in Safari guests, ensuring a comfortable and efficient journey to Kwessi Dunes. The scenic flight will offer you breathtaking views of Namibia's diverse landscapes, including the stunning dunes of the Namib Desert.

Once you arrive at the airstrip near Kwessi Dunes, our team will be ready to greet you again and transfer you to our lodge. Here, you will have the opportunity to unwind, refresh, and prepare for the incredible adventures that await you in the heart of Namibia's desert wilderness.

Why You’ll Love Kwessie Dunes:

Disconnect with the world!

Kwessi Dunes is a Sossusvlei safari camp located deep in Namibia’s striking NamibRand Nature Reserve, a vast desert wilderness of over 200,000 hectares. With its rolling desert plains and backdrop of craggy mountains and iconic red dunes, this is a place where time seems to stand still, and the space is never-ending. Here, it’s not about
chasing the big game but rather soaking up the beauty of the colorful landscape, admiring the antelope that scatters the sand, and gazing at the stars that light up the night sky.

At Kwessi Dunes, you’ll find comfortable (and air-conditioned) chalets all with canvas walls and thatched roofs. Each bedroom has a separate ‘star gazer’ room, completely open to the sky, and the perfect spot from which to watch the celestial theatre show above.

Views from the rooms, the main area, and the swimming pool are of the vast, desert vistas, and when you can't bear to tear your eyes away, enjoy quad biking, scenic drives and walks, hot air ballooning, helicopter flights, horse riding and day trips to Sossusvlei.

We hope you have been enjoying your stay at Kwessi Dunes and have had the opportunity

to explore the incredible Namib Desert.  Please be ready for your transfer from Kwessi Dunes to Hoanib Valley Camp, which is scheduled for today.

Upon landing at Hoanib Valley Camp Airstrip, our friendly team will be there to welcome you and assist with your transfer to the camp. You'll have the opportunity to settle in and start exploring the unique beauty of the Hoanib

Valley.

We understand that traveling between these incredible destinations is an integral part of your Namibian adventure, and we aim to make it as convenient and enjoyable as possible.
